Wind Deflectors
Wind Deflectors
Wind deflectors fit over car windows and allow to keep wind and rain out when the window is opened slightly. When the cars window is out it allows air from outside to circulate the vehicle and reduce condensation inside the car. There are two types of wind deflectors in channel which fit into the window sill of the car and out channel which stick onto the door frame of a car.
Wind deflectors are also known as rain shield or wind shield they are all exactly the same just different names. Wind deflectors normally are tinted, they alter the contour of the cars line slightly and fitting wind deflectors also improve the cars look aesthetically.
The in channel wind deflectors fit into the cars wind frame and are a tight fit so its important to fit them correctly as badly fitted wind deflectors can fall out, cause rattling sounds, and can even damage or scratch your cars window so its extremely important to fit them correctly and to ensure they are a tight and secure fit as you don’t want your wind deflectors fall out while you are driving.
Our in channel wind deflectors fit inside the cars door frame / window channel and as they are a tight fit once securely fitted they will be nice and secure however we do include clips as some cars may need them. The clips included with the wind deflectors are two space the gap between the window and the deflector and in some cases keeps the deflectors secure in the window channel. The clips aren’t always necessary so you only use them where needed
